Halloween Beginners Entomology and Preparation Workshop

Sunday, Oct 30th at 12pm - 3pm - Morbid Anatomy Museum
424 3rd Ave, Brooklyn

The Morbid Anatomy Museum is one of our favorite places in all of New York and it might be the best possible place to spend your Halloween weekend. The whole week is filled with exciting events but on Sunday they're hosting an entomology workshop. This taxidermist class includes all materials and complementary museum admission for the day. Students go home with their own finished butterfly or spider specimen, an extra specimen to work on at home, a display case, and the knowledge to create their own pieces in the future. I'm officially spooked.

Quiet Mornings at The Museum of Modern Art

Wednesday, Oct 26th at 7:30am - 9am - MoMA
11 W 53rd St, New York

For those of you who are just sick of the non stop Halloween talk this week, relax, we've got the event for you. MoMa is hosting a tranquil and peaceful morning viewing your favorite works from MoMA’s collection, along with some that are rarely on view, all without the crowds. The fourth- and fifth-floor galleries will be open, and they encourage visitors to take time to look slowly, clear your head, silence your phones, and get inspiration for the day and week ahead. A special mediation room will even be available. So namaste and ENOUGH Halloween already!!!
